"NFL Takes Strong Action Against Sports Gambling: Five Players Suspended"

The NFL has handed out suspensions to five players, four of whom are from the Detroit Lions, for breaking the league's gambling policy. This is the largest crackdown on such violations since sports betting became widely legal throughout the United States. Among the suspended players is Jameson Williams, a first-round pick in 2022 and wide receiver for the Detroit Lions.
